So, the night before I go to the grocery store is either a take out night or a "let's see what we can throw together" night. Tonight was the latter. Let's face it, when you pour pasta sauce over anything it's gonna be good! This dish was no exception.
Pasta Surprise
1 (1lb) package mild italian sausage
1 onion, diced
1 large bell pepper, diced
1-2 Tbs garlic
1 package frozen broccoli florets
1 jar pasta sauce
Pasta, cooked and drained
2 Tbs. Butter
1 Tbs oil
Salt and pepper

-Steam broccoli in microwave according to package directions. Set aside.
-Add oil to a pan and cook sausage until done. Remove from pan and set aside leaving grease in pan.
-Add butter and melt.
-Add pepper, garlic, and onion to pan and saute until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
-Add sausage and broccoli in pan and cook together for about two minutes.
-Add pasta sauce and cook until heated through.
-Serve over cooked pasta.
